2024 Season Updates

Welcome to the official page of Columbine High School Basketball!  If you're new here - welcome! We are glad you're here!  If you're returning, welcome back!  We will keep this site updated as we plan our 2024 season, including pre-season camps, clinics, open gyms, workouts, etc. Please follow us on Instagram and Facebook for announcements.  You can always come back here to check for information. 

 

A few notes if you're interested in playing Rebel Basketball:

"BASKETBALL IS A CUT SPORT."  We generally see upwards of 80+ boys at tryouts.  We have 3 teams (L3, JV, and Varsity), and with 12 players on a roster, there isn't enough room to keep everyone who comes to tryouts.  Attendance at our summer camps and or workouts does NOT guarantee a spot on a team.  Tryouts offer each athlete a time to shine and show the coaching staff not only basketball skills, but attitude, effort, sportsmanship and enthusiasm - which all come into play as we select our teams for the season.  

 

All Athletes who plan to tryout for Basketball MUST complete the Athletic Registration and have a Sports Physical done before tryouts in order to participate.  Please CLICK HERE to register and submit physical. (Note: Registration for Winter sports will open in October 2024. We will post here and on our Social Media pages when Registration is open).  Physicals are valid for 365 days -  get your physical done early!

We will start open gyms and skills development workouts in May 2024, followed by several camps and clinics throughout the summer.  Check out our Off-Season info page for additional information.  We will update this page as we confirm dates/times for camps and clinics.

Tryouts for the Winter 2024/2025 season will be held in mid November.  Please plan to attend ALL DATES of tryouts.  We do NOT hold make-up tryouts.  Missing a day or more WILL affect your team placement.  ​

Reminder, tryouts and practices are closed to anyone not participating, including friends and parents.
